WHO WE ARE
Jesus said that He came to Earth so that we could have life in its “fullest possible way.” (John 10:10) Wow! We can’t think of a better mission for Summit Church than helping you discover your highest purpose and your best life in Christ! Simply said, discovering and living God’s highest and best for our lives is the driving force behind everything we do.
If you haven’t already, we hope that you’ll try us out soon and experience for yourself the friendly, welcoming and authentic community of people who gather each week to connect with God and with each other.
You have purpose in life—an original story that God has written for you to tell. We want to help you live God’s highest purpose for your life. Summit is a safe place to take the next step in discovering and experiencing the next big chapter in your story.
By connecting regularly with others through small groups and our weekend services; worshipping together; using your gifts to serve others; and giving to something bigger than yourself, you can’t help but to keep moving forward in your journey.
We are all part of a family in one way or the other. So, we believe in relevantly and practically partnering with you, your spouse, your children and your teens to help create and strengthen strong foundations for healthy and thriving families. Summit Kids (our ministry to infants thru 5th grade) and Vertical (our midweek service for middle and high school students) are two great places to keep your family connected and growing.
Colossians 3:23 says, “In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people.” That’s why—starting with our leaders—we advance a culture of being real, being loving and being at our best.
Our leadership team serves the church by shaping and directing the vision and ministries that help you and others live their highest purpose and best life in marriage, parenting, friendships, work-life, finances, emotional health, physical health, spiritual health and every other thing that matters in our lives.

- 3. THE FALL OF MAN
We believe man was created in the image of God, but that, by voluntary disobedience, he fell from perfection. (Romans 5:12)
- 4. THE PLAN OF SALVATION
We believe that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, signing the pardon for all who believe him. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8)
- 5. SALVATION THROUGH GRACE
We believe we have no righteousness and must come to God, pleading the righteousness of Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)
- 6. REPENTANCE AND ACCEPTANCE
We believe that upon sincere repentance and wholehearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God. (Romans 10:6-10; I John 1:9)

We believe the change which takes place in the heart and life at conversion is a very real one.
(II Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20)
- 8. DAILY CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe it is the will of God that we are sanctified daily, growing constantly in the faith. (Hebrews 6:1)
- 9. BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolical use of the bread and the juice of the vine. (I Corinthians 11:24,25)
- 10. BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the baptism with the Holy Spirit empowers believers and that His incoming is after the same manner as in Bible days. (Acts 2:4)
- 11. THE SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE
We believe it is the will of God that we daily walk in the Spirit. (Ephesians 4:30-32)
- 12. THE GIFTS & FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christian (I Corinthians 12:1-11) and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life. (Galatians 5:22-25)
- 13. MODERATION
We believe the experience and daily walk of the believer should never lead him into extremes of fanaticism. (I Timothy 2:8-10; Colossians 3:17; Philippians 4:5)
- 14. DIVINE HEALING
We believe divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith. (James 5:14-16)
- 15. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
We believe the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent. (I Thessalonians 4:16,17)
- 16. CHURCH RELATIONSHIP
We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together to advance the Lord’s Kingdom. (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24)
- 17. CIVIL GOVERNMENT
We believe laws should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God.
- 18. THE FINAL JUDGMENT
We believe some day all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ and there receive either eternal life or death. (Revelation 20:11-15;
Hebrews 9:27; II Corinthians 5:10)
- 19. HEAVEN
We believe heaven is the glorious eternal home of born-again believers. (John 14:1-3; Revelation 7:15-17)
- 20. HELL
We believe hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Christ as their Savior. (Revelation 20:10-15)
- 21. EVANGELISM
We believe soul-winning is the primary responsibility of the Church. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; James 5:20)
- 22. TITHES AND OFFERINGS
We believe the method ordained of God for the support and spread of His cause is by giving tithes and free-will offerings. (Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:7)
